Currently stepping the temperature down as its truly hot and stays that way. I have come to believe the tank is very well insulated. Hot water lasts a long time. Granted, it is just my wife and I, however, you can take, "forever showers", and not run out of hot water. Real easy to install too. If you are uncomfortable doing the job yourself, get an experienced plumber/handyman you trust with an up front estimate, that is fair for a couple of hours. It's really that simple to install. I reused the same exhaust to the chimney, and assuming you are replacing a like gas fired hot water heater with this one, it's all easy. LessStefan · Review provided by Home DepotAll Reviews
